Why is there fogging on the side of my candle? Is that normal?

Those are called "wet spots" and they are totally normal and sometimes unavoidable.

The spots are caused by shrinkage and air bubbles that occur as the wax is cooling inside the container. Part of the wax pulls away from the glassware and sticks to the container giving it this particular look.

They can also occur while a candle is going through changes in air temperature i.e. during transit from me to you :) Wet spots in NO way affect the burnability of the candle.

I've noticed slight variations in your products. Why is that?

Each of my products are poured by hand and therefore, small variations are to be expected. I do my best to keep consistency and inspect all products before they make their way out the door to you. Sometimes I run into shortages in my jars, wax, fragrance oils, etc and do my best to find a similar option.

If you have specific questions about a product, please let me know!

Why soy-coconut wax?

Soy-coconut wax is incredibly natural and clean burning. The wax I use holds a higher volume of fragrance than other natural waxes and does not hinder the true notes of a fragrance. This blend also provides a creamy white candle with excellent look and texture. Don't worry - my candles do not smell like coconuts :)

Are your candles vegan?

Yes, they are vegan friendly. Hooray!

What's the best way to remove the leftover candle wax & re-purpose my candle jar/tin?

Fill a pot with hot water and place your candle in to melt the leftover wax. Pour the melted wax into a heat safe container and discard. Careful - the candle will be hot! Clean your container thoroughly with soap and hot water. You can also place your cooled candle in the freezer and chill it for 30 minutes. Once the wax hardens, it should pop out and can be thrown away.
